  JAUCH, Stefan (Steve) - Passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Friday, March 28, 2008, in his 77th year. Beloved husband and best friend of 56 years to Elfriede (nee Andree). Father of Peter Jauch and his wife Elizabeth. Brother of Anna Schaffner and her husband Joe, Jim and his wife Charlene, and Dave Jauch. Brother-in-law of Gerhard Otto and his wife Elizabeth of Germany. Loving uncle to his many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews who will miss him dearly. A lifetime achievement of Steve's was to serve as a dedicated president of the Schwaben Club for 18 years and the Alliance Danube Swabians in North America for 17 years. Steve's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. Rev. Richard Frey officiating. A reception will be held at the Schwaben Club following the committal service at Woodland Cemetery.
