HAYSVILLE - Mr. Fred W. Anderson, (68), died in a Calgary hospital following several months illness. He was a former resident of Haysville and Preston. Last Rites were held from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Calgary and interment [part of obituary was not photocopied]

Former Bank Manager Dies
Frederick William Anderson, 68, of 1321 2nd Ave. N.W., a well-known former district bank manager, died Tuesday in the Holy Cross hospital. He was for many years associated with the Bank of Montreal and was manager of banks at Chauvin, Camrose, Alberta, Bow Island, Castor, and at Olds from 1932 until he retired in 1945. He moved to Calgary two years ago. He was born in Haysville, Ont. Surviving are his wife, Alma; five daughters, Loretta, Olds; Margaret, Patricia and Mary, Calgary; and Genevieve, Vancouver; a son, Wilfred, Edmonton; and three sisters, Mrs. Q. Llowyd, Haysville; Ann Anderson, New York, and Mrs. Murray Judkins, New York; and a brother, Edward, of New Hamburg, Ont. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Knights of Columbus.
