      Norman H. Williams, 78, of 125 Margaret Ave., died Monday in K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness.

      Born Aug. 27, 1883, in Copake, N.Y., he had been a resident of the Twin Cities for the past 36 years.

      He was formerly a foreman for the Dominion Rubber Company, textile division and had retired 12 years ago.

      A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Williams, he is survived by his wife, the former Mae McLaughlin, whom he married at Perry, N.Y,. in 1909; two sons, Cornelius G., of Waterloo, and Malcolm N. of Kitchener, one daughter, Mrs. John (Romayne) McKnight of Waterloo, one sister, Mrs. Cora Ferry of Waterbury, Conn., and four grandchildren.

      He was predeceased by one daughter, four brothers and four sisters.

      The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where Rev. Leander Roblin will conduct a funeral service at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

      Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
