  Allison, Eva Sadie Mae Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Twin Oaks, Maryhill, Ontario at the age of 106: wife of the late John Richard Allison: predeceased by her parents John and Laura Burke, Orangeville, Ontario, brother Clifford (Iva) Burke and sister Dorothy Burke; loving mother of Donald Allison (Marie) formerly of Conestogo, Pauline Spaetzel (late husband George) of Kitchener and Evangeline McLarty (Robert) of London, Ontario; dear grandmother of Laurie Tombs (Greg), Donald Allison, Jr. (Becky), Bradley Allison (Sue), Pamela Allison-Young and Kent Allison (Esther), Jonathan Spaetzel, Libby Blakely (Steve), Sonja Gerke (Jarrett) and Derek McLarty (Judy); great-grandmother of 14 and great-great-grandmother of 6. Eva graduated from Toronto Normal School in 1927 and taught in Toronto, Mono Centre and Orangeville before her marriage. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, ON (519-749-8467) on Thursday from 5 - 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11 am followed by a reception. A private interment will take place in Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Kitchener Gospel Temple (Missions) or Crossroads Christian Communications Inc.
