  MRS. BARBARA KNECHTEL Barbara Knechtel, relict of the late Philip Knechtel, passed away last evening at her home, 679 Park atreet, in her 92nd year. Deceased was a daughter of John R. Schmidt and Margaret Roth, both deceased. German Immigrants to Canada. She was born at Wilmot township. Mrs. Knechtel was of the Lutheran faith. Two sons. Henry and Valentine. both of Kitchener, and one daughter. Mrs. George B. Schmidt, North Easthope, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren survive.. One brother, Jacob R. Schmide, Kitchener, also survives. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon with services at her late home Park street, at 130 o'clock and thence to St Jacob's Lutheran Church. Burial will he made in North Fasthope. Rev. Mr. Hamister will officiate. ______________ Mrs. Barbara Knechtel One of Kitchener's oldest residents in the person of Barbara Knechtel, relict of the late Philip Knechtel, passed away Wednesday. March 29th, at her home. 579 Park street, in her 92nd year. Deceased was a daughter of John R. Schmidt and Margaret Roth and was born in Wilmot township. Surviving are two sons, Henry and Valentine, both of Kitchener, and one daughter, Mrs. George B. Schmidt, North Easthope, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also one brother, Jacob R. Schmidt, Kitchener. The funeral was held Monday afternoon with services at her late home to St. Jacobs Lutheran Church. Burial was made in North Easthope. Rev. Mr. Hamister conducted the service.
