- A-2-89 Mary Mann Letters of Administration of the estate of Mary Mann, late of the Township of Galt, widow, deceased, who died on or about the 17th July 1859 at the Town of Galt and who ar the time of her death had a fixed place of abode at the Town of Galt, made and duly executed her Last Will and Testament but named no Executor or Executrix therein. A true copy of which said Last Will and Testament is hereunder written. And be it further known that on the 12th January 1861, Letters of Administration with the said Will annexed…were granted…to Jane Mann of the Township of Burford in the County of Brant, Spinster, the residuary legatee named in the said Will. She, the said Jane Mann having previously been sworn well and faithfully to administer the same according to the tenor of the said Will…
…I Mary Mann of the Town of Galt, Widow…my Last Will and Testament as follows : I give leave bequeath and devise to my daughter (who now lives with me) Jane Mann and to her heirs and assigns after my decease, all and every all and singular my moveable and immoveable (or heritable) property and especially all monies, bills, bonds, accounts, furniture, and in general all my chattel property and also all lands, houses, and property immoveable and all my right to the same and particularly that Lot Number 5 in the north concession of Township of Fullarton, County of Perth, to which I have claim and right from my son Robert, now from home abroad, and also all and every real property, chattel, moveable and immoveable which I may yet have right to or which may be devised and bequeathed to me. And I direct and order and devise that the said Jane Mann do pay out of said property hereby bequeathed and devised to those here after named, namely to Frederick Mann, my son, the sum of forty pounds and the note due on said land to be paid in the event of the said land in Fullarton being obtained by and secured to my said daughter Jane and not otherwise.
