- Sylvia V. Mundt, Goderich Man Wed in Kitchener
The wedding of Miss Sylvia Violet Mundt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mundt, Ellen St. E., and Mr. Orval John Sieling, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sieling, Goderich, was solemnized at the parsonage of Benton St. Baptist Church this afternoon. Rev. G. L. Stover officiated.
The bride wore a midnight blue dressmaker suit with black accessories and a corsage of American beauty roses.
Mrs. Gerald Gross of Kitchener, sister of the bride, was her only attendant. She wore a gray dress-maker suit with pink accessories and a corsage of baby pink roses.
Best man was Mr. Gerald Gross. Following the ceremony 35 guests were received at a dinner at the home of the bride. The bride and bridegroom received, assisted by their mothers. Mrs. Mundt chose an orchid frock with matching accessories and a corsage of peach roses. Mrs. Sieling wore a figured jersey dress with matching accessories and a corsage of peach roses.
The bride and bridegroom left on a wedding trip to Detroit and White Lake, Mich. The bride chose a tailored gray suit with black accessories for travelling. Mr. and Mrs. Sieling will reside in Goderich on their return.

Mrs. Sylvia Sieling, 41, of 104 Union Blvd., died Monday in K-W Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Springside, Sask. she had been employed by the Kaufman Rubber Company, Ltd. Surviving is a son, Gregory of Kitchener, three brothers, Harold Mundt of Detroit and Albert and Lawrence Mundt of Kitchener, and six sisters, Mrs. Clinton (Lydia) Double and Mrs. Gerden (Esther) Bain of Detroit, Mrs. Louis (Ruth) Heiman, Mrs. Gerald (Gertrude) Gross, and Mrs. Carl (Irene) Hergott, all of Kitchener, and Mrs. Wilmot (Mabel) McGavin of Sarnia.
The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where a service will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. J. W. Pratt of Trinity United Church will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
