    • SAMUEL MARTIN

      Samuel Martin, 76, of Woolwich Township died at his home this week. He was born in the township November 29, 1879, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noah Martin.

      He is survived by his wife, the former Katie Fry. His first wife, the former Leah Gingrich, died in 1939.

      Also surviving are five sons, Edward and Iera of Elmira, Urias of Elora, Norman, at home, and Samuel of Fordwich, four daughters, Mrs. David (Almeda) Fry, Mrs. Elias (Lizzie) Martin and Mrs. David (Annie) Martin, all of Peel Township and Mrs. Menno (Maryann) Martin of Elmira; seven stepsons, Israel Gingrich, Martin Gingrich, Norman Gingrich, Osiah Ging- rich, Joseph Gingrich, Isaiah Gingrich and Allen Gingrich; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Nicholas (Annie) Hummel, Miss Magdalina and Mrs. Har- vey (Hannah) Martin; one brother, four sisters and 63 grandchildren.
