- SERRAN, Martin - Suddenly, at his residence, on Wednesday, July 12, 1989 following a lengthy illness, Martin Serran, of Westwood Drive, Kitchener, age 72 years
Martin was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Army Service Corps in Normandy, France. A member of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans' Club of Kitchener, Sheet Metal Union, Local 562 and Sacred Heart BC Church.
Beloved husband of Helen (Waechter) and brother of Margaret Kresky, Anne and her husband Carl Shaughnessey, all of Kitchener, Helen Kulack of Peterborough, Barbara Golks of Combermere, Ont. Frank Serran and his wife Anne of Barry's Bay. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Larry Serran and the former Frances Mask and two brothers, August Serran of Windsor and Peter Serran of Timmins
Friends called at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Ki chener, Friday, from 2-4 and 79 pm, where parish prayers were held at 8 pm Funeral services will be held in the chapel today (Saturday) at 1 pm. Interment Woodland cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, dona tions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
