  CRAWLEY, LAWRENCE JOSEPH was of the third generation of his family in Western Ontario. The family history is described in volume three of Middleton. s "The Province of Ontario" A History. He was born at Kinkora on September 29, 1897. He received his preliminary education there and at Stratford. He graduated from the medical faculty of the University of Toronto in 1922, and following an internship of one year, came to Kitchener to practise in August 1923. In 1929 he moved to Evanston, Illinois, where he remained until July 1966 when because of ill health he retired at Haysville. He died there shortly after moving to Haysville, on September 4 of that year. He was survived by his widow and three sons. Dr. Alexander D. Campbell, Doctors in Waterloo County 1852-1925
