    • HARVEY, SAMUEL A. There was no degree on record for him but he was licensed by the Medical Board in 1856, and he practised in Brampton for ten years. Following this reports on his location are conflicting, but he was in New Hamburg in 1878, and attended an accident there in 1880. He left Ontario and possibly New Hamburg about 1885. He practised in Lapier, Michigan, and died in 1907.

      EDWARD J. ROWE, M. D.,

      was born in the Province of Ontario, Canada, May 8, 1846. He is the son of John Rowe, a native of New York, and Sarah (Vail) Rowe, of
      Nova Scotia. The former was a farmer by occupation, and the subject of this sketch was reared upon a farm until nineteen years of age. After receiving a good education he began the study of medicine in Canada, Dr. Samuel A. Harvey being his preceptor.

D., Esquires, for the United Counties of York and Peel, and Ira Skinner, Esquire, M. D. for the County of Brant.
