- MCINTOSH, PETER DOUGLAS served in the First War in the 127th. York Rangers, and with the Royal Air Force. On his return to Canada he graduated in medicine from the University of Toronto in 1920.
He then undertook postgraduate training in pediatrics in Britain.
He came to Kitchener in 1922, residing at the corner of Weber and Frederick Streets, and built up a large practice. In 1924 he became ill in December, and when it became apparent that he would require surgery, he elected to go to the Mayo Clinic, where he died on March 23,1925.

___________
Dr. P. D. Mcintosh
Many friends of Dr. P. D. McIntosh will learn with sincere regret of his passing which took place at Rochester, Minn., on Sunday last. Deceased, who was 31 years of age had practiced his medical profession at Kitchener for three years. Some time ago his health failed and he underwent an operation at the Dr. Mao Institute in Minnesota in the hope of improving his health. He was a graduate of the Toronto University and took a post graduate course in England. During the war he served in the army overseas. A wife and one daughter and his parents and one brother, D. G. McIntosh, all of Kitchener, survive. The funeral was held on Wednesday.
