    • KARN, Phyllis - At Freeport Hospital Health Care Village, in Kitchener, on Friday, Dec. 6, 1991, age 80 years.

      Mrs. Karn was born in England and was a daughter of the late Harriett Hulme and Joseph Carthy. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Kitchener.

      Beloved wife of Mervin Karn; dear mother of Jackle and her husband William Fish, Eric and his wife Ellana, all of Kitchener. She is also lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Shell and Mrs. Eileen Carthy, both of Kitchener.

      She was predeceased by seven brothers, Percy, Eric, Harold, George, Joseph, Cyril and William and one sister, Eunice Martin.

      Mrs. Karn's family receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. The funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home Monday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Robert Schroeder officiating. Interment in Woodland cemetery, Kitchener.

      Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Bassett/Falk Cancer Research Foundation in Toronto, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

      Friends and relatives are invited to the Reception Room of the funeral home, following the service in the chapel.
