MELDRUM, PETER G.
The private funeral of Dr. Meldrum took place from the residence of his brother, Dr. N. W. Meldrum of Ayr to Crown Cemetery, Puslinch, via the 9: 42 Canadian Pacific Railway train, on Tuesday, Mary 26, 1915 and was largely attended. Dr. Meldrum was born in Puslinch on the old Meldrum homestead, 64 years ago. For a number of years, he taught school at Oshawa, Hamilton and Toronto, later taking a course in medicine and beginning his practice at Whitby, where he remained for many years, being also medical attendant for the Ladies' College there.
