    • Alice Marie Sachs (nee Hauck) passed away peacefully at Trinity Care Centre, Kitchener on September, 26, 2010, in her 91st year. Predeceased by husband Roy (1993); son Darrell in infancy and her parents Henry and Rose Hauck. Loved and greatly missed by her children Robert (Annette), Glen (Linda), Wayne (Irene), Gerald, Brian, Bruce (Connie), and Sandra (Don) Squires. She will also be greatly missed by 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Alice is survived by brothers Sylvester (Leona) Hauck, and Earl (Millie) Hauck, and sisters, Theresa and Sebastian (Buster) Tittle, and Pat (Richard) Zinken. Predeceased by brother Wilfred (Madeline) Hauck, and sister, Dorothy (Gordon) Stevenson. Alice was a member of the C.W.L, Canadian Legion Branch #50, Uniroyal Credit Union, and the Labour Board. She was an avid bowler at Towne Bowl and was passionate about Bingo until the end. She also loved her Blue Jays. Alice will be remembered by all that knew her for her captivating smile and endurance. She was one feisty lady. The family wishes to thank the Trinity Care Centre, and the Studios for their compassionate care and attention. Mrs. Sachs's family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church Street, Kitchener, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Prayers will be offered at the funeral home at 8:45 p.m.) Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 11 Traynor Ave., Kitchener on Wednesday, September 29th, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Wojciech Kuzma as celebrant. Interment: Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Trinity Recreation Fund (Maple Bush - Trevor and Jason) or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
