  Lamka, Dorothy Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late John (Jack) Lamka (1986). Dear mother of Jack Lamka (Elaine) of Kitchener. Loving grandmother to Joanne Van Ostrand (John) and Kelly Paleczny (Alan) all of Waterloo. Great-grandmother to Joshua, Amanda and Zachary. Predeceased by sisters Gladys Wright, Florence Reiner, Verna Lobsinger, and brothers Herbert Sachs, Ronald Sachs, Roy Sachs and Robert Sachs. Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 3 pm on Monday, March 30, 2009 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
