    • Death of Mrs. Geo. Schmidt

      WHICH TOOK PLACE AT MONTREAL.

Quite a number of our citizens remember Mrs. ((Dr.) Geo Schmidt, of Milwaukee, who visited here a number of times with her husband, also deceased, when he came to see his brother, the late W. L. Schmidt. She attended the latter's funeral about two years ago. She passed away on Monday in a Montreal hospital where she had been removed with the intention of having to undergo an operation when she should grow stronger. Mrs. W. L. Schmidt received a telegram on Tuesday, announcing the death and that the remains will be taken to Milwaukee for internment, The deceased was formerly a resident of Sudbury, where her relatives reside.
