  BERNIER, Delbert "Del" - Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at St. Mary's General Hospital, at the age of 78. Dear husband of Rosemarie Bernier, father of Pamela Turner and her husband Scott, Cathy Kennedy and her husband Dale. Grandfather to Dawn Zuber and her husband Mike, Deb Panchaud and her husband Phil and Ty Turner. Great-grandfather to Alanna and Justin Zuber and Samantha and Jessica Panchaud. Survived by a brother Clarence and his wife Betty, their son William and his wife Serena, sister-in-law Hilda Erdelac and her husband Frank. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Marie, two step-brothers, two stepsisters, one brother Henry and a sister Helen. Del was an employee of Lear Canada for 36 years. Friends will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South (at Westmount Rd.) Kitchener, 519-743-8900, on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 from 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral service will held the following morning at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association or Bethel Lutheran Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
