    • HAMMER, Floyd D.\emdash Peacefully, on Friday, Dec. 19, 1997, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in his 75th year.
      Loving husband of Maizie (nee Leinweber); dear father of Kenneth Hammer and his wife Barb of Edmonton, Douglas Hammer and his wife Diane, Dorothy Schnittker and her friend Murray Thomas, Ruth Leeman and her husband Jeff, all of Kitchener and Audrey Frost and her friend Frank Malone of Calgary; grandfather of Chris, Cat, Mike, Jeff, Denise, Allysha, Colleen and Maxx. Survived by his two sisters, Martha Weeks of Stratford and Edna Weitersen of Florida. Remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
      Predeceased by his son, David Hammer; one brother, Gordon and three sisters, Gladys, Emma and Esther.
      Mr. Hammer's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St S., Waterloo, on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Following the service friends are invited to the reception room in the funeral home for refreshments and a time to visit. Interment Memory Gardens.
      As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Sunnyside Seniors Daycare.
