- TOWLER, William B. was introduced by his card in the Daily News, Berlin on July 2, 1879:
Dr. W. B. Towler. Physician, Surgeon, &c. Graduate of Victoria University and member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Coroner for the County of Waterloo. Office formerly Dr. Pipe's Queen St. Berlin
Another card says his office and residence were nearly opposite the Merchant's Bank, Queen St. The card ran until September, 1879 The Canada Lancet on March 1, 1878 had a contribution from W. B. Towler of Wingham. According to the College of Physicians and Surgeons, he was in Dunnville, Ont., but no dates are given. Another source said a P. B. Towler moved from Collingwood to Baltimore, Md.

The Rev. John Towler, a superannuated Methodist minister, died at the residence of his son, Dr W. B. Towler, Wingham, on Friday last. Deceased had been ill for some time past, and his death was not unexpected

FOR RETIRED DOCTOR.
Funeral services for Dr. William Bradley Towler, aged 76 years, who died Tuesday at his home, 1217 West Forty-seventh street, will be conducted at 1. p.m., today, in the chapel of Utter & Ruppe. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
Dr. Towler was a graduate of Victoria University, Toronto, Can. After practicing his profession in Toronto for forty years he was forced to move to Southern California on account of ill health. For the past twelve years he had devoted his time to church and philanthropic work. He leaves a widow and a sister. Mrs. Robert Mcindoo of Fresno.

1882 - Dr. W.B. Towler bought 'The Pharmacy' from W.T. Bray. The building housed Towler's Drug Store and Bell Telephone Central on the first floor and Dr. Towler's office on the second floor.
1891 - A.L. Hamilton of St. Thomas, bought the stock of Towler's Drug Store. Dr. Towler moved his office to the second floor beside J.A. Morton's law office. He was appointed Huron County coroner in 1902. He stayed with that position until he moved to California in 1906.
