  Garfield Evans ELMIRA Garfield Lloyd Evans, 67, of 34 Water St. W., died suddenly today at his residence. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Evans, he was born at Forest, Dec. 30, 1901. He had been a resident of Elmira since 1932. He was produce manager of Silverwoods Dairies Ltd. at Elmira until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of Wesley United Church where he was on the board of stewards and was a past elder. Surviving are his wife, the former Agness Lithgow; five brothers, Wilfred of Atwood, Ransom and Glenn, both of Forest, Bruce of Kerrwood, Frank of Sarnia; one sister, Mrs. Earl Douglas of Forest. The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor for service in the chapel Monday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at Pinehill cemetery, Thedford. Rev. E. W. Shaw will officiate.
