    • Peter Toffing Peter Toffing, 49, 78 Glasgow St., died at the K-W Hospital this morning, following two weeks illness.

      He had been employed at the Anthes-Baetz Furniture Co. for the past 12 years, and was a member of St. John's R.C. Church.

      The deceased was born Nov. 14, 1899, in Romania, son of Andrew Toffing and the former Elizabeth Taber. He was married in Romania to Anna Gruber, who survives. He came to Canada in 1930, and had since resided here.

      In addition to the widow, two daughters survive. They are Theresa and Annie, both at home. There are also two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hehn, Romania, and Miss Eva Toffing, Hungary. Solemn requiem mass will be celebrated at St. John's 'Church Tuesday at 9 a.m.

      The body is resting at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home until Tuesday morning at 8:30, when prayers will be said prior to the church service..
