  FERN SHOEMAKER Fern Shoemaker, 11, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Shoemaker, R.R. 1, Elora, died at the home of her parents Monday night. She had been ill for some time. Miss Shoemaker was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church. Surviving, besides her parents, are three sisters, Ilene of Elmira, Vera and Eva at home and six brothers, Glen, Ray, Lyal, Claire, Lorne and Stewart, all at home. The funeral will be held Thursday (today) at 1:30 p.m. from her late residence, R.R. 1, Elora, and thence to Bethel Mennonite Church for service. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until Wednesday at 5 p.m. when removal was made to the home. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Elmira Signet 15 Jan 1953
