  Joyce Helen Cressman (nee Janz) Peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, November 20th, 2005, surrounded by her family, at the age of 68 years. Beloved wife of Bruce her constant companion for 48 years. Cherished mother of Cheryl (Leonard) Boyes and Rhonda (Jan) Beckner. Grandma will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Laura and Michelle, Christopher and Emily. She is lovingly remembered by brothers, Daunevin (Josie) Janz of Red Deer, Alberta, Garry (Linda) Janz of Carleton Place, Ontario, sister Laverna (Aldo) Marchese of Calgary, Alberta, and Dorothea Janz of Manotick, Ontario. The family invites friends to share in their memories of Joyce at the Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, on Tuesday November 22 from 7-9 PM and Wednesday November 23 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM. A Celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, November 24th at 10:30 AM at Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church, followed by a time of fellowship. In Joyce's memory, donations to Lisaard House or the Women's Ministries of Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church can be arranged through the funeral home. The family extends very deep appreciation to Dr. Donna Ward and Heike Lackenbauer for their abundant compassion and care throughout the years and to the many wonderful nurses, personal support workers and volunteers at Lisaard House whose devotion to Palliative Care has been expressed so lovingly each day during Joyce's time there.
