  Death of Mr. Jos. Schwan After a lingering illness of about three years' duration, death removed Mr. Joseph Schwan of 380 East. Sixteenth St. E., and a member of the well known firm of Schwan Bros. Deceased was born in Waterloo sixty years ago and had been a resident of Owen Sound for about eleven years. He was married to miss Christina Kreutzweiser of Carlsihue [sic] about thirty years ago and he is survived by his widow, one son, Albert and five daughters, Misses Emma, Lavinia, Adeline, Matilda and Winnie. Three brothers, Louis of Desboro, William and Frank of Owen Sound and two sisters, Mrs. Alex. Oberly, Formosa and Mrs. Hundt of Hanover also survive. The funeral will take place on Thursday, Church at nine at St. and afterwards to St. Mary's cemetery, Rev. Father Burke officiating.
