    • MRS. R. SNOWBALL DIED AT ST. GEORGE

ST. GEORGE, May 29.-Catharine Rudell, relict of Robert Snowball, passed away at her home in this village on Wednesday, May 23, 1923, in her 71st year, after a lingering illness of over four years, which was borne with great patience and fortitude. Mrs. Snowball was born in Preston, where the earlier part of her life was spent, coming St. George with her parents 53 years ago. She was a life long member of the Presbyterian church and a faithful worker in the cause of the Master as long as health and strength permitted and always much beloved by a large number of friends. Her husband predeceased her two and a half years ago and her sister, Mrs. P. E. Pepper, of Chicago, Ill., by only four days. She leaves three children to mourn the loss of a loving mother, Mrs. S. C. Simonson of Galt, and Miss Violet and Mr. William R., at home, all of whom deserve the highest praise for the faithful and tender devotion shown toward both their parents during their long and severe illness. To them is extended the deepest sympathy of a host of friends . Mrs. Snowball also leaves one brother, Mr. R. F. Rudell, of New York, one sister, Mrs. C. H. Hunt, of Louisville, Ky. The funeral was held, on Saturday afternoon from her late home to the Methodist her pastor, Rv. A. A. cemetery, Paterson, M. A., officiating. Those attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Simons, son, Mrs. W. E. Rudell, Miss M. Rudell and Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Snowball of Galt, Mrs. O. Rudell of Hespeler, Mrs. John Cole, Miss Harold Jones and Mr. and Mrs. W. Turnbull of Brantford and Mrs. Meaking and M. and Mrs. T. E. Metcalf of Hamilton. The pallbearers were: Messrs. John Malcolm, William Hurley, Charles Haas, George W. Howell, Nelson Patten and Warren Turnbull.

      MRS. REUBEN PEPPER.

Margaret Rudell, beloved wife of Mr. Reuben Pepper and sister of Mrs. Snowball died in Chicago, Ill., on May 19, in her 55th year. She was a resident of this village during her youth, being the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Rudell and also an active member of the Presbyterian church and member of the choir. Her husband and daughter, Dorothy survive her. Interment place in Chicago on Monday, 19.
