    • FUNERAL HELD ON MONDAY

      Remains of Former Town of Hartford Woman Buried at Schleisingerville.

      The funeral of Mrs. Barbara Noll, who passed away in death at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Lofy, of Milwaukee, on Tuesday, April 22nd, 1915, was held at Schleisingerville last Monday morning, with burial in St. Peters' Catholic cemetery. Deceased was born in Galt, Canada, and had reached the age of eighty-four years and eight months. Her parents moved to the state of New York, where she was married to Nicholas Schantz. Shortly after their marriage the couple came to Wisconsin and settled on a farm near Pike Lake, which is now owned by George Frank, Mr. Schantz died about thirty years ago, and later the widow was married to Mr. Noll. For the past eighteen years she has lived in Milwaukee. She is survived by the following children: Nicholas Schantz, of Portage; Mrs. John Kuntz, Mrs. George Lofy and Mrs. Philip Lofy, of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Nick Wagner, of the town of Hartford.

      Deceased was a highly esteemed woman and much beloved by her old neighbors and acquaintances, all of whom remember her for many good qualities of heart and mind. Her death was the result of a paralytic stroke, and before that had been in fairly good health.
