    • HELEN REESOR OBITUARY

      (December 10, 1925 - January 25, 2023)

      It is with joy and sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Helen Reesor.

      Born and raised in Hamilton, Helen graduated from McMaster University then the University of Toronto in the Class of Meds51. She spent the majority of her life working in Waterloo at her Family Practice and The University of Waterloo Health Services.

      Helen was a student of the Bible and believed that Jesus was the son of the living God and hope of mankind. After retiring from her medical career, she was very engaged with Singing Waters Ministries in Orangeville and travelled with the Marney Patterson Invitation to Live team.
      We remember her for her intellect, directness, strength, kindness and generosity.

      Helen was predeceased by her husband Glyn Edward Reesor, parents John and Hilda Eydt and brother John Norman Eydt. She is survived by her sons, John (Patricia) Reesor and David (Teresa) Reesor, and grandchildren Mark (Heidi), Jenn (David), Chelsea (Nicholas), Laura (Mark), Jacob, Matthew (Angela), Joshua (Sarah), Michaela (Gunnar) and Justin. She was also blessed with great grandchildren Madison, Thane, Berkeley, Charlotte, Violet and Thomas.

      A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St. Orangeville. Visitation at 1:30 and the Funeral to follow at 2:30. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com.
