  Lyle Cameron December 21, 2022 Lyle David Cameron of St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Dorothy Cameron (Gray). Loved father of Curtis Cameron (Julie). Cherished grandfather of Caleb Cameron (Ginny) and Devin Cameron and great-grandfather of Charlie Falk and Blake Cameron. Dear brother of the late Fay Turner (Cameron) (Ron). Lovingly remembered by nieces Susan Turner and Wendy Lawrence-Turner (Ken Lawrence). Lyle was born in Kearney, Ontario on March 13, 1933, son of the late William and Viola (Hoover) Cameron. Lyle was Director of Promotion and Communication at Fitness and Amateur Sport before his retirement. He was a devoted member of First United Church. A celebration of Lyle's life will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00 p.m. \endash 9:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Lyle's memory may be made to First United Church, St. Thomas.
