- Mrs. Edwin S. (Ida) - At Freeport Hospital, on Friday, January 16, 1981, Ida Diefenbacher, aged 93 years, of 195 Natchez Rd. She was a charter member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, and a member of the WMS.
Beloved wife of the late Edwin S. Eby, who predeceased her November 10, 1964. Dear mother of Clarence of RR 1,Ayr, Floyd of RR 1, New Dundee, Orton of St. George, Keith, Pearl and Ruth all of Kitchener; sister of Owen of Cambridge, Eli and Lloyd, both of New Dundee, Roy of Guelph, Nina and Mrs. Lilian Shantz, both of Kitchener. Nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased b her parents, one daughter, Doris, two brothers, Ira and Leo and four sisters, Anna, Elsie, Amy and Hattie.
Friends were received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener until noon Monday when removal was made to Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church for funeral service at 2: 30 pm. Rev. Vernon Leis and Rev. James Reusser officiated. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
