    • Albert H. Lautenschlager

      Albert H. (Curly) Lautenschlager, 42, of 13 Churchill St., Waterloo, died Saturday at K-W Hospital after a short illness.

      A member of Canadian Legion Kitchener branch, he was a veteran of two wars. He was a flying officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force in the Second World War and a lieutenant in the Canadian Army during the Korean War.

      He was employed as a placement officer at the National Employment Service and was a member of the Civil Service Association of Canada, Kitchener council.

      Born in Toronto Aug. .17, 1918. he was the son of Clarence Lantenschlager of Timmins and the former Mrs. Oliver Lewis of Flint, Mich. He came to Kitchener as a child.

      Mr. Lautenschlager was a Lutheran.

      Surviving are his parents, his wife, the former Grace Rahmel, whom he married in Kitchener in 1939; two sons, James. and John, at home, and two daughters, Judith and Jeanne, at home. The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home from where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m.

      Rev. C. S. Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.
