    • MRS. MAX R. SMITH

      Mrs. Laura Grace Smith, 44, of suite 3, 803 St. Paul avenue, died Sunday at Winnipeg General hospital. Born in Hespeler, Ont., Mrs. Smith had resided in Winnipeg for the past 16 years. Besides her husband, Max R., she is survived by two sons, Robert and Richard; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bannick, of Yorkton, Sask.; two brothers, John Douglas, in Iowa, and Homer, of Winnipeg. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Thomson's funeral home, with burial in the family plot, St. James cemetery.
