- The funeral of the late Joseph Kalb, town, son of Mr. George Kalb, town, who died in Saginaw last week of consumption, was held on Monday afternoon, Rev. R. von Pirch conducting the obsequies.

WAS A BRIGHT YOUNG MAN.
Joseph Kolb About to Enter Upon Age of Manhood, Died Last Evening.
After an illness of nine months, Joseph Kolb answered the last call last evening at the home of his brother, William Kolb, 2504. North Michigan avenue. Death occurred about nine o'clock and was due to consumption. The young man had lived in this city for eight years, and had many friends. He came here from Berlin, Ontario, where he was born, October 15, 1884. He was an exceptionally bright young man, and his taking off cuts short a promising life. The remains will be taken to his old home, where his father'resides, and will be laid beside those of his mother, who died last March. The young man was a communicant at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church.
