    • William Lincoln

      William (Scotty) Lincoln, 68, of 85 Ontario St. South, Kitchener, a mail carrier for 22 years, died in K-W Hospital yesterday. He had been ill for two years.

      Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on May 23, 1891, he came to Canada in 1920. A member of the Presbyterian church, he served from 1911 to 1919 with the Royal Scots Fusiliers and was a member of Kitchener Canadian Legion branch.

      He is survived by his wife, the former Jean McLaren, whom he married in Scotland in 1916; one son, James of Kitchener, and two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Catherine) Davidson of Ottawa and Mrs. Donald (Mary) Israel of Kitchener. There are five grandchildren.

      One son, Thomas, was killed overseas in 1945. The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home where the service 'will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
