FO. Thomas N. Lincoln attached to an R.A.F. squadron in Iceland, has been reported missing since an operational flight on March 27 according to word reaching his wife, Mrs. Ryna Lincoln, 54 Water St. S. The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lincoln, 334 1/2 King St. W., FO. Lincoln is a wireless air gunner and has been in Iceland since March, 1942.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, he was educated here and attended Victoria School and K-W Collegiate Institute. In 1941 he enlisted in the R.C.A.F. in Hamilton, receiving his training at various camps. Some of his training was taken at Guelph and Jarvis where he received his wing. He was commissioned while in Iceland. In civilian life he was a taxi driver.
A brother, Pte. James Lincoln, is stationed at the C.A.T.S., Hamilton, and a sister, Mrs. Katherine M. Davidson, has been recently discharged from the R.C.A.F. (W.D.) following three years' service, Another sister, Mary, is at home,

The body of FO. Thomas Lincoln, 25, who was reported missing March 27, has been recovered, a telegram informed the officer's wife, Mrs. Ryna Lincoln, 34 Water St. S. Attached to an H.A.F. squadron, he had been stationed in Iceland and was reported missing after his aircraft failed to return following patrol flight, A wireless air gunner, he is the late son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lincoln, 334 ½ King St. W.
A native of Scotland, he was educated locally, having attended Victoria School and the K-W Collegiate Institute. He enlisted in the air force in 1941, trained at Guelph, Jarvis and other camps, and was posted to Iceland in March, 1942. Prior to enlistment he was a taxi driver.
A brother, Pte. James Lincoln, is stationed at the C.A.T.S., Hamilton, and Mrs. Katherine Davidson, a sister, has recently been discharged from the R.C.A.F. (W.D.) following three years' service. He is also survived by another sister, Mary, at home.
