- FIETSCH, Petronella "Nellie" (Schlieman) - Peacefully passed away, at Caressant Care in Woodstock, on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Schlieman and the late Clarence Fietsch. Dear mother of Jack Schlieman and his wife Audrey of Woodstock. Loving grandmother of ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, William Schlieman. Nellie was a member of St. John's Catholic Women's League for over fifty years and was associated for many years with St. John's Boy Scouts. Friends will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King Street West, Kitchener, on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's RC Church, Kitchener on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. In memory of Nellie, donations to St. John's Church Building Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
