  MARJORY McKERSIE (nee Gies) 1927 - 2007 Marjory passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, one week after her 80th birthday. Lovingly remembered by her daughter, Connie Veitel and her husband Dave of Port Elgin and granddaughter, Denise and her husband Gerald Charlton of Linwood. Nanny nanny to Hannah, Matthew, and Noah. Survived by her sister, Lynn Kearns of Burlington. Marjory is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Jessie Gies; a brother in infancy and brother-in-law, Art Kearns. A special thank you to the ICU and 6th floor nurses at K-W Health Centre for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Marjory's life will be held at Luther Manor, 100 Allen St. E., Waterloo, on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the K- W Humane Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged by contacting the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo at 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com In living memory of Marjory, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
