  HINSPERGER, Shirley (nee Gies) With sadness, Shirley's family announces her sudden passing on May 18, 2016 at the age of 80. Shirley is the beloved mother of Wendy (Brad), Mark (Deb), Rob, Tim (Jane) and Kim. Proud and loving Nana of Sherry (Scott), Steve (Sonya), Brad (Steph), David (Amanda), Danny (Niki), Nick (Amanda) and Brandon, and (Great) Nana of Jacob, Dallas, Hannah, Sierra, Lily, Kayla, Hailey, and Jared. Shirley was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her 9th great-grandchild due in June. She is predeceased by her parents, Alex and Edna Gies, and her brothers Bob (Ann), Walter (Mary) and Terry. Shirley was young at heart and her family was everything to her. Her warm presence will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning, May 28, 2016 at 9 o'clock at St. Louis RC Church with Fr. Phil O'Reilly as celebrant. Services will be concluded with the Rite of Committal at St. Agatha Cemetery immediately following Mass. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Lung Association, and can be arranged by contacting the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (519)743-8900.
