  Aged Resident Dead Mrs. John MeGeoy, formerly of Linwood, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 9th, at the home of her son, Rev. Sylvester McGeoy, Markdale. She had been residing there since the death of her husband last September, She is survived by two other sons, Edward at Cooley, Sask., and Frank at the homestead near here. She was 74 years of age. The remains were brought to Linwood on Thursday morning. After Requiem Mass on Friday morning, burial took place at the R. C. cemetery. A large number of relatives and friends of the deceased attended the funeral. Mr. Wm, Hayes of Waterloo, her only brother, and Mrs, McCardle of St. Marys were among the mourners present from a distance. Waterloo Chronicle 17 Apr 1924 pg 8
