  SULLIVAN RESIDENT PASSES WEDNESDAY After Three Months Illness, Mrs. O. Schreiber Dies in 72nd Year CHESLEY, April 4 - After an illness of over three months death came to one of Sullivan's aged residents on Wednesday, April 1st, the late Mrs. Oscar Schreiber. Deceased passed away at her home on the concession of Sullivan in her 72nd year. Her Christian name was Christena [Christena was her mother's name, Barbara was her real name] Ebenau, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chas. [Henry] Ebenau, formerly of New Hamburg, where she was born. Forty-nine years ago she was married to Oscar Schreiber who survives her, and moved with her husband to Mount Forest and later to Ayton. After residing in Ayton for some time they settled on the 8th Con. of Sullivan, where she spent the last 41 years of her life. She is survived by two sons and three daughters: Edward at home, and Joseph on the adjoining farm on the 8th Sullivan; Mrs. Frank Parsons Toronto, Mrs. H. W. Klages of Deboro, and Laura at home. One daughter, the late Mrs. Jas. L. Rolfe, of Avoca, N.Y. predeceased her five years ago. One brother, Charles, of Laporte, Sask., also survives her. There are also seven grandchildren. The funeral will be held from her late residence in Sullivan on Saturday, April 4, and will be conducted by Rev. A. R. Huband. Interment will be made in Chesley cemetery.
