    • PEHLKE, Emil V.\emdash Peacefully, on Thursday, April 13, 1995, at Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, Emil Valentine Pehlke, of 11 Molesworth St., Wellesley.

      Emil, the son of the late William Pehlke and the late Matilda Strickert, was born in Monkton 84 years ago. Mr. Pehlke was a faithful member of First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Wellesley. He operated a barber shop and pool room in Wellesley for 60 years, retiring in 1986. Emil was also active with the Wellesley Board of Trade and the Wellesley Jolly Oldsters.

      Beloved father of Lois and her husband James Harnock of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Cathy and David Boyer of St. Agatha, Gayle and Michael Hartshorn of Harriston, Michele and her friend Bryan Logel of Waterloo, Mark Harnoch of Kitchener, Michael and Trish Harnock of Kitchener; cherished Grandpa to eight great-grandchildren.

      Predeceased by his wife, Margaret Beaver in 1944; also by three brothers, Fred, Edward, Reuben and by one sister, Ella Becker.
      Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. W., Wellesley, today (Saturday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Easter Sunday from 2-4 p.m. only. At noon on Monday, April 17, removal will be made to First St. Pauls Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. George Reinhart will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
