- WAGNER, Clarence W.\emdash Peacefully, on Thursday, November 23, 2006, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Clarence was born 92 years ago in Wilmot township. He was a resident of Kitchener.
Son of the late David Wagner and the late Martha Poppert. Beloved husband of Idella Wagner (Cook) of Kitchener. Loving father of Bruce and his wife Penny, Murray and his wife Pauline, all of Kitchener, Doris (Mrs. Wayne) Ernst of Conestogo, Shirley Atkinson and Joe Fittanti of Breslau, Dianne (Mrs. Dan) Moore of Kitchener. Grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by brothers Arnold, Oscar, Walter and George and by sisters Alma and Paula.
Clarence lived a full life, after the war he worked at the Sunshine Factory until he bought City Cabs, and started a limousine service and chair rental. In his spare time he loved fishing, bowling, horseshoes, and water skiing at the cottage. He was also a longtime Kitchener Ranger hockey fan.
Visitation will be at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St. Wellesley, Ont., tonight (Friday) from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastors Allen Bankert and Ed Bankert will officiate. Burial will be in First St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley.
