Retired Real Estate Broker
Albert Leggett, seventy-six, retired real estate and insurance broker, died today at his home, 17 Linwick Pl. He had been Yonkers resident since 1932. Born in Freehold, N.J., Aug. 4. 1882, he married the former Barbara Hogg in New York City in 1909.
They lived in the Bronx before moving here. Prior to World War I. Mr. Leggett was a wireless operator on the old Clyde Lines and later was an investigator with the former Morris Plan Bank of New York before entering business for himself around 1925.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Isabella Rice of Malverne, L.I., and Mrs. Alberta Koch of Lake Shenorock: son, George of Shrub Oak; sister, Miss Beatrice Leggett of Manhattan; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
