  HOPF, Alvin John - On Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1986, at Stratford General Hospital, Alvin Hopf, of Milverton, in his 78th year. He was born in Mornington township, a son of the late George Hopf and the former Catherine Schneider. He was a member of Burns Presbyterian Church, Milverton. Lovingly remembered by his two sons, George and his friend Carole, Kevin and his wife Pat, all of Stratford; two daughters, Brenda and her husband Bob Reis of Milverton, Joyce and her husband Bill Stubbings of Stratford. Also survived by six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Alvin was predeceased by two brothers, George and David and two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Candler and Mrs. Edna Ohm. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Ave., Milverton, after 2 o'clock on Thursday and until Friday, Feb. 7, 1986, where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., with Rev. W. Sayers officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Waterloo Regional Lung Association.
