Notes - Graff, Rita ~ Peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Derbecker's Heritage House, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Victor Graff (1994). Loving mother of Allan and Jane of Elmira, Jeanne and Steve Hall of Waterloo, and Paul of BC. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Gregory (Happy), Anita, Annette (David); Melissa, Rebecca; and Robert, and by her great-grandchildren Victor, Amy and Zachary; Andrew and Natasha; Justin, Nathan and Ashton. Sister of Germaine Wright of NB. Rita will be missed by her brother-in-law Justin, sisters-in-law Arsenia, Madeline and Betty, many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents, Theophile and Anna Marchildon and by her 12 brothers and sisters. Rita was a faithful member of St. Teresa's CWL for over 60 years, and a member of the Woolwich Seniors Association. Rita's favourite pastimes were quilting, gardening, cards and bingo. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Sunday, August 6, 2017, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, with parish prayers offered at 1:45 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 7, 2017, at 11 a.m., at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 19 Flamingo Drive, Elmira, followed by interment in St. Teresa's RC Cemetery, RR 1 Elmira. In Rita's memory, donations to St. Teresa's Parish Fund or St. Mary's Hospital Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. A special thank you to Chartwell Retirement Residence, CCAC and Derbecker's Heritage House for the exceptional care and kindness given to our mother.
