  HELM, Helen Josephine - On Wednesday, July 4, 1984, at K-W Hospital, after a short illness, Helen Josephine Helm, aged 67 years, of 66 Dover St., Waterloo. Born in Downie township, Perth County; she was a member of St. Louis RC Church, Waterloo and the CWL. Daughter of the late Patrick and Annie McDermott; beloved wife of Cyril Helm; beloved mother of James and Joanne, both at home; dear sister of Frank McDermott and Mrs. Mary McGuire, both of Waterloo, Mrs. Kathleen Devereaux of Detroit and Anne (Mrs. Edward Haig) of Toronto, Florence (Mrs. Alfred House) of Cambridge (P) and Louise (Mrs. Victor Lindsay) of Stratford. Predeceased by one brother, Harold and two sisters, Angela and Margaret. Mrs. Helm's family will receive friends at the Edward Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a..m., followed by the funeral mass at St. Louis RC Church (Saturday) at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Parkview cemetery, Waterloo. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Parish prayers will be held this evening at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
