LeBLANC, Godfrey Joseph - After a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease Godfrey passed away peacefully at the age of 76, on Wednesday March 7, surrounded by his loving family at Napanee General Hospital. Godfrey was a longtime employee of Weston Bakeries. He will be fondly remembered by many for his musical talents. He is survived by his wife of 53 years and wonderful caregiver Rose- Marie, his adored son Paul (Wendy), and three cherished grandchildren Cole, Josh, and Brielle. Sisters Evelyn LaPlante of New Brunswick, Claudette (Alyre) Richard, and brother Leonard LeBlanc. He was predeceased by his parents Napoleon and Aurore LeBlanc and his daughter Pauline who will be waiting for him in heaven. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston, at 7:00 p.m.. Donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society, www.alzheimersociety.ca
