    • HELDMAN, Walter E. Passed away, on Saturday, January 13, 2001, at St. Mary's General Hospital, age 90 years.

      Walter is lovingly remembered by his son, Lorne and his wife Marjorie of Waterloo; grandchildren, Stephen and his wife Nancy, Brian and his wife Margaret, Kevin and his friend Tammy and Kim Ropp; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary and Austin, Courtney and Ashley: he will also by sadly missed by his brother, Carl of Kitchener.

      Predeceased by his wife, Florence (Buhlman) in 1998; his parents, Edward and Christina Heldman and his brothers, Frederick in infancy, Roy in childhood and Conrad.

      Walter had been employed as a truck driver with Kuntz Breweries and later Carling Breweries for almost 50 years. Upon his retirement, he worked on a casual basis with Lou's Bearings in Waterloo.

      Walter was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Waterloo. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 530, Waterloo and a life member of the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club.

      Walter's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

      Parish prayers will be held this evening (Monday) at 8:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Prayers will be offered at the fu neral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Waterloo, with Rev. Edward Sheridan officiating. Interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
