  SCHAUS, Elberta (Bert) - At Sarnia General Hospital, Thursday, March 7, 1991, Elberta (Bert) (nee Hagen) Schaus, aged 57 years, of Sarnia, formerly Kitchener. Beloved wife of Merv; dear mother of Debbie (Mrs. Larry Hoekstra) of Kitchener and Greg and his wife Lynn of Alliston; dear sister of Thelma (Mrs. Bob Inglis), Phyllis Gerth, Audrey Nancy (Mrs. Bill House), Marjorie (Mrs. Gerry DunkWilber and his wife Joanne and Bobby, all Kitchener- Waterloo and Edna (Mrs. Jack Smeltzer) of Belwood. Predeceased by six brothers. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 1991 at 1:30 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 429 Indian Rd., Sarnia. Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Rd. (Hwy. 7), Sarnia, on Sunday afternoon, 2-4 and evening, 7-9 p.m. Sympathy through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, the Sarnia Humane Society or Elks Lodge Purple Cross Fund, would be appreciated.
