- HAGEN, J. Thomes (Tom) - At K- W Hospital, on Saturday, April 9, 1988, after a lengthy illness, James Thomas Hagen, of 80 St. Clair Ave., Kitchener, aged 53 years. He was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran.
He had been employed as a custodian for the Waterloo County School Board until his retirement in 1978, due to ill health. He was a member of the K.W Naval Association and was a Cub leader with the 12th Kitchener Pack. Husband of the former Mary Ann McEllistrum; father of Tim and Andrew, both at home; brother of William and Mrs. Phyllis Gerth, both of Waterloo, Walter, Wilbur, Thelma (Mrs. Robert Inglis), Audrey, Marjorie (Mrs. Gerald Dunkel) and Nancy (Mrs. William House), all of Kitchener, Robert of Elmira, Edna (Mrs. Jack Smeltzer) of Belwood, Elberta (Mrs. Mervin Schaus) of Sarnia. Predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Carl and Harvey.
Friends may call at the RatzBechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at with Pastor William Schafer officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens cemetery. Donations may be made to the K-W Hospital Equipment Fund, as expressions of sympathy.
